Personal:

I am 42, and am only getting better with age and wisdom.

Running is about third or fourth on my priority list, but that's pretty high.  I'm a busy guy.  My family comes first.  I've got a few great runners in the bunch - watch out for them!

Started off strong and solid, running at 6:40 pace but got sick near mile 8 and puked. Pulled myself together and kept going but had to take 45 seconds off my pace for a few miles. Sent Keith ahead and he finished in 1:27. What a competitor! I toughed the thing out. Split times:  Mile 1 - 6:21, Mile 2 - 6:28, Mile 3 - 6:27, Mile 4 - 6:52; Mile 5 - 6:40, Mile 6 - 6:45, Mile 7 - 6:56, Mile 8 - 7:31, Mile 9 - 7:30, Mile 10 - 7:42, Mile 11 - 7:53, Miles 12 and 13 and 13.1 - 15:24 (missed a split somehow). Final time 1:32:33.  I am proud of how tough I was after getting sick.  My 2005 Moab time was 1:37, so I can be happy with a course PR!

Watched NY Half Marathon on 3/21 and saw Haile G. running in second place have to pull over near mile 8.  Looked to me like he threw up over the barricade.  Happens to the best of us! :)

Hey great run! I think I saw you there. Were you wearing a BYU jersey?

Congrats on a great run and toughing it out. I can't imagine going on after puking.
